Suppose, I have a histogram (or a "discrete" frequency counter):
X = {0.1: 3, 0.2: 5, 0.41: 1, 0.45: 5, 0.5: 3, 0.7: 9}What is the best possible way to convert it to a continuous function, so that, one can query the "frequency" for any number? I was reading on KDE but not able to get my head around it.
